ABOUT TRINA

I know what it’s like to need someone to walk beside you.

Whatever season you’re in, I’m not here to fix you. I’m here to walk with you through it.

My story

I know what it means to hit a bottom. I know what it feels like to wonder if there’s a way out — and I know the profound gift of discovering that there is. I’ve been in personal recovery for nearly three decades now.

I also know this from the other side of the table. I’ve watched people I love fight hard battles, and I’ve learned firsthand how much those struggles ripple out to everyone around them, not just the person living through it. That dual perspective, of having walked it myself and having walked alongside people I love through it, is something I carry into every conversation I have with a client.

Recovery isn’t the only hard road I’ve walked. I’ve gone through grief, divorce, and loss myself, and I’ve done my own work in therapy and support groups to move through it. I don’t ask anyone to walk anywhere I haven’t been. I will walk alongside you in this journey with empathy and support.

I’m a Certified ASM (Authentic Self Modality) Guide and a Peer Support Specialist prerequisite graduate. My practice is grounded in a simple three-step framework: Honesty, Integrity, and Letting Go of what cannot be controlled — principles I’ve lived by for nearly three decades before I ever coached anyone else through them. I meet people wherever they are, without imposing any single approach.

I understand the importance of meeting people exactly where they are, without judgment, and walking with them step by step. That is what I do.

How I work with you

My sessions are built around a simple framework: Honesty, Integrity, and Letting Go of what cannot be controlled. We start with an honest look at where you are — whatever that looks like for you — and build a path forward together from there.

I’m not a substitute for licensed clinical care, and I’m careful about that line. Where you need more than coaching, I’ll help point you toward the right kind of additional support — I’d rather be honest about that than pretend I’m all of it.

Whatever season you’re walking through, you don’t have to walk it alone.

Giving back, reuniting families, and healing communities — this is personal. This is my purpose.
